You seem a little
mixed up - left leaning Ron Paul supporter really is an oxymoron. Sure Paul might be against imperialism - but so is Bruce Nader - so why not support him? This is what I find annoying about anarchists - they'd totally sacrifice the working class in the name of liberty.

The "main stream Marxists" Chomksy is reffering to, were none other than Marxist revisionist. Attacking Lenin is tantamount to attacking Marxism. Now the most important step is to stop feeding on what Chomsky or anyone else digested.
You must learn to start thinking and analysing for yourself. Almost every point on which Chomksy attacks Lenin, is eloquently defended by Lenin, in The Proletarian Revolution and The Renagade Kautsky. If you are a critical thinker you will compare that with Chomsky.

One may remember the guys who won, because they had the most correct line. "Whip the population"? Lenin work tirelessly to raise the political awareness of the working class. He also worked hard to expose enemies, of the working class.
His books, remain a testament to that. Marxism, attempts to make leaders of all workers, so they can continue, even when the top leader is assassinated or killed. The word WHIP, is interpreted by myself as a desperate attempt to discredit Lenin.

First of all I am not a Stalin apologist. Chomsky claims to be a follower of Marx. He has no problems with Marx, because he interprets him incorrectly as being anti state. It is only Lenin he has problems with, not Marx. So that is why I say he revises Marx. Lenin faced a similar argument from Kautsky, and he wrote a book, where he clearly explains his views on the state, and on democracy.
You can google it and its free reading ONline. The Proletarian Revolution And The Renagade Kautsky.

Correction: Chomsky has not only never claimed "to be a follower of Marx" but has openly declared opposition to Marxism as an ideology. Just watch Manufacturing Consent where he speaks about his embrace of anarchism and his rejection

I get a Youtube error when I try to post the link. But you can if you search for the Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky you can find it in the Marxist Archives. I do not see much differences
between Kautsky and Chomsky.
